Development of superior haplotype based near isogenic lines HaploNILs for enhanced genetic gain in rice

In this study, we performed whole genome resequencing of a core collection of 370 rice accessions obtained from 10 different states in India. The collection consisted of diverse types, including breeding lines, varieties, hybrids, farmer varieties, and landraces that are predominantly cultivated in the Indian subcontinent and widely adopted by rice growers. The average sequencing depth of genomes was 25X.
