Dichotomous variables compared using χ2 and Fisher exact tests and continuous variables compared using Mann-Whitney tests. Values reported as percent and number of observations for dichotomous variables or median and Interquartile Range (IQR) for continuous variables. There was a significant difference in median age however the age ranges for both the Non-Malaria and Malaria groups were the same.
