Schabti for Nes-ta-iret-anchet

Blue faience statuette with black details. The name Ns-t3-jr(t)-cnh(t) can be read with certainty, except for the last component; cf. on such formations, which are mostly women's names, Ranke, Personennamen I 179, there especially no. 12. Basic form: Mummy-shaped with arms crossed on the chest, wearing black heels. On the head three-part wigs of strands. Inscription: Below the arms, six surrounding vertical hieroglyphic tenses delimited by lines, rendering an incomplete and erroneous version of Book of the Dead ch. 6: ""Illumination of Osiris Nas-ta-iret-anchet (?). He says: O thou Schabti! When the Osiris Nes-ta-iret-anchet (?) is called to water the banks, to pass over the and to the west and to the east, to do any work that needs to be done..."" here the text breaks off. Cf.
