South East Queensland Ultraviolet and Cloud Measurement Data

This data collection contains UV radiation samples collected in Toowoomba from 2002.  By taking spectral scans every five minutes from 5am to 7pm daily, these data aim to improve our understanding of ultraviolet radiation, taking into account time of year, time of day, cloud coverage, dust coverage and other factors.  A Total Sky Image has been taken every minute from sunrise to sunset from 2005 onwards to supplement the UV radiation data.
Complementary teaching materials are provided, including downloadable student worksheets, and online animations for both students and the general public.
