资源简介:
This repository contains raw data and cleaned data of demographic, CD-RISC 25 score and subscales of CD-RISC 25 stratified by cohort and campus in a population of associate degree nursing students in southern middle Tennessee obtained in the Spring of 2023. There were 169 (89.9%) participants. The total CD RISC 25 mean score for all participants was 76.1 (SD=11.5), indicating a lower level of resilience than the general population (M =79.0, SD=12.9). College students completing the CD-RISC 25 score two to three points lower than the general population. The results obtained from this study corroborate this information. The resilience of students decreased slightly between the first and second semester and then remained consistent as they progressed through the associate of applied science program. The mean CD-RISC 25 score for students in semester 1 was 78 (SD=10.3). The mean score decreased to 75 in the other semesters of the program. The median CD-RISC 25 score for total participants resulted in a Median=75, IQR 70:85. Forty-eight (28.4% of participants scored in the lowest quartile (0-70). The median for the general population was 82 and 0-73 was the lowest quartile. Subscale scores of the CD-RISC 25 were obtained. Developers of the survey do not recommend separate scoring because of varied scoring in different settings. These scores were obtained to plan future interventions to improve resilience in this population of students. Scores on hardiness, coping, regulation of emotion, cognition, adaptability and flexibility, and on meaningfulness and purpose remained stable across the four semesters. Optimism also remained stable, however, scores were lower than the mean for the other subscale scores. Of all the subscale scores, students’ self-efficacy was highest.
