This dataset contains the raw data used in the study "The Two Faces of Janus: Dual-Path Moderated Mediation of Observer Responses to Abusive Supervision" by Jeeyoon Jeong and Jae Uk Chun, submitted to the Journal of Business Ethics.The study investigates the contrasting effects of witnessed abusive supervision on observers' work effort through a dual-path moderated mediation model. It examines how observers' attribution of a performance-promotion motive for abusive supervision moderates the relationship between witnessed abuse and work effort, mediated by emotional and attitudinal responses.The data were collected through a three-wave survey with a one-week interval between each wave. Participants were full-time working adults in Korea, recruited through an online survey platform.
