We studied the rare case of a patient who underwent transformation of myelodysplastic syndrome to chronic myelomonocytic leukemia and B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We used fluorescence-activated cell sorting and whole-exome sequencing to identify driver mutations in the various clones.
