资源简介:
Understanding the planetary formation process by the coagulation of interstellart dust grains requires to study the ice-phase dependant collisional properties of icy dust grains. We recently developed a method for producing mm-sized ice pebbles and neutron scattering offers a unique analysis tool to understand their structural phase. We request 5 days on SANDALS or NIMROD to characterise the temperature dependent properties of these icy pebbles as they would be used in a parabolic flight experiment, aiming to determine the temperature ranges at which collisional studies will be most relevant to planetary science.
