Network dynamics

Dataset Description This dataset contains distance matrices calculated using Mathematica as part of an analysis on the evolution of conceptual relationships in scientific literature. The matrices were derived from a co-occurrence network based on a corpus of 10,370 research articles (2010–2023) related to International Security, obtained from JSTOR and Web of Science (WOS) which can be found here. Format and Accessibility The dataset is provided as .m files to use in Mathematica. Code used to generate and process these matrices is available in the accompanying Mathematica notebook. The initial dataset that contains information about concepts frequencies in 10370 documents can be found in this Zenodo repository. The dataset can be used for scientometric research, topic modeling, and network analysis. Citation and Usage Researchers are encouraged to cite this dataset when using it for scientific publications, bibliometric studies, or computational experiments.
