VPRS 5507 Judges Note Book - Mr Justice Molesworth

Judge Sir Robert Molesworth was a judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria from 1856 until 1886, sitting mostly on the Equity side. He sat as a judge mostly in the Equity, Insolvency and Ecclesiastical jurisdictions as well as being the chief judge of the Court of Mines and also sitting in the Criminal jurisdiction.This series consists of a Note Book used by him whilst on the bench. Details given are the date and the case with details of counsel appearing, notes regarding the exhibits presented during the sitting and notes regarding the verdict. Texts of the oaths and affirmations used in cases before the Court and other procedural matters in the Court are written for reference at the front of the volume.
