Understanding public network attention towards hiking

In the information age, the importance of the degree of social concern of hiking can be reflected by the network attention. This study analyzes the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of the network attention of Chinese hiking using the Baidu index of hiking in 31 provincial-level administrative regions directly under the central government as data from 2016-2021, using the Herfindahl index, seasonal concentration index, intra-weekly distribution skewness index, geographic concentration index, coefficient of variation, and primacy.
