At the end of the 2nd reporting period the proposed exploration program for the permit areas was
unfortunately put in suspension due to our senior field operation person resigning. Our intension was to find a
new suitable candidate to conduct the exploration, but with the arrival of Covid-19 it genuinely destroyed any
hopes of continuing with our original exploration plans.
During the reporting ending 13.08.20 on ground prospecting was conducted with Off Road Vehicles and Motor
Cycles. After correlation of this prospecting data, target areas were selected and a drilling program
commenced using the Almet Master MKII Drill Rig (9 inch auger) to test these prospective sites. The total number
of 522 (9 inch diameter) exploration holes were drilled on the EP this reporting period. The total footage drilled
was 14,094 Ft. Our exploration season was cut short due to the previously mentioned resignation as the skill
set and qualifications necessary for this type of exploration is quite difficult to find an appropriate candidate.
The object of the exploration program over the EP area was to ascertain if any major deposits of Opal exist in
this part of the field. The findings of this preliminary drilling program were less promising than expected with
very few areas showing Opal Mineralisation, in most cases surface trace was not a true representation of sub
surface mineralisation.
The 9 inch Auger Rig was the only machinery used to explore the areas, no large diameter drill holes were
required at this stage. All holes drilled have been backfilled automatically by the Rig upon completion of each
hole. There exists no need for ongoing rehabilitation of the sites drilled.
