资源简介:

UTR Application Module II: Cognition as Meta-ResonanceThis module applies the Universal Theory of Resilience (UTR) to the structure and function of human cognition. It demonstrates that the mind operates as a Meta-Resonance engine: a system that detects, interprets, and corrects internal contradiction in order to maintain coherent perception, belief, memory, and behaviour under persistent antagonism. The module maps each UTR axiom—Distinction, Antagonism, Local Oscillation, Meta-Resonance, Stabilizing Structures, Predictive Memory, and Adaptive Stability—onto core cognitive mechanisms including perception, metacognition, error monitoring, belief formation, narrative identity, and executive control. By framing cognition as a resilience system, this work shows that awareness arises as Meta-Resonance and intelligence emerges as Adaptive Stability. The module strengthens the universality of the UTR by demonstrating that the same structural principles governing biological and physical systems also apply to mind and consciousness. This document is part of the ongoing Applications of the Universal Theory of Resilience series, authored by Jamie Morris.
