Two-sample mendelian randomization analysis evaluates causal associations between inflammatory bowel disease and osteoporosis

Multiple observational studies have speculated that there is a directional association between inflammatory bowel disease (IBD, including ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s disease, UC/CD) and osteoporosis. However, their dependence and the causality of pathogenesis are still controversial. Here, we intentionally further explore the causal associations between them.
