The KABR Raw Videos dataset contains raw, unprocessed drone video footage collected for the creation of the KABR (Kenyan Animal Behavior Recognition) dataset. The dataset features giraffes, plains zebras, and Grevys zebras in their natural habitat at the Mpala Research Centre in Kenya. Videos are in MP4 format and accompanied by SRT subtitle files containing metadata such as GPS coordinates, altitude, and camera settings. The dataset supports tasks like animal detection, tracking, behavior analysis, and environmental context analysis. It does not have formal train/validation splits and is intended for method development, context preservation, preprocessing research, and data augmentation.
