资源简介:
Tomato is an important vegetable crop, which, however, is exposed to many dangers including a viral infection. One of the preventive methods used to limit losses caused by viruses is the application of synthetic immunity inducers, such as benzo(1,2,3)-thiadiazole-7-carbothioic acid S-methyl ester (BTH). The aim of this study was an explanation how the BTH functions in Solanum lycopersicum cv. Betalux plants depend on the time of action, type of the inducer (BTH or choline ionic liquid derivative) and virus infection. The NGS RNA-seq analysis indicated common and unique inducers-dependent response genes. The obtained results may help to understand the effect of the tested inducers on the cellular machinery of treated plants, taking into account the most important enriched processes (related to metabolism and immune response) and the associated fitness cost.
