This source code generates the tables and the figures in the main part of the paper. GermanHyperinflationClientLevel.dta, GermanHyperinflationFirmLevel.dta, and GermanHyperinflationSecurityLevel.dta contain pseudo data. Results based on these data are not meaningful. GermanHyperinflationTownLevel.dta and GermanHyperinflationNominalPrices.dta contain real data.
