This dataset contains the experimental data supporting the study “Multiscale structural evolution of hematite nanoparticles controlled by synthesis parameters: A factorial design study.” Hematite (α-Fe₂O₃) nanoparticles were synthesized using a full 2³ factorial design to evaluate the effects of FeCl₃ concentration, NH₄OH concentration, and calcination temperature. The dataset comprises eight experimental treatments with three independent replicates per treatment (24 experimental observations) for three quantitative response variables: coherent crystallite domain size determined by X-ray diffraction, crystallinity index derived from X-ray diffraction patterns, and BET specific surface area. These data were used for factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA) and evaluation of the corresponding model assumptions.
