These data consist of firm-level cross-sectional data from acquirers and targets in 4,129 international M&A deals. We test for differences in CMNE/DMNE SAS intensity with regards to both location-bounded (i.e. trademarks) and non-location bounded strategic assets (i.e. patents) in target firms.
