This dataset documents detailed information on 15,383 shallow rainfall-induced landslides triggered in the western mountainous area of Beijing, China (spanning an approximate area of 3,250 km²), in the aftermath of the historic extreme precipitation event that impacted Beijing from July 29 to August 2, 2023, driven by the residual circulation of Super Typhoon Doksuri. This inventory represents the most systematic landslide catalog for this event to date, providing foundational data for quantifying the geological hazard impacts of extreme meteorological events. All landslides were identified via manual visual interpretation by comparing high-resolution satellite imagery (0.8–2 m resolution) acquired before and after the event, and recorded as vectorized point features (denoting landslide initiation locations) and polygon features (representing the full affected extent). Each landslide was further classified based on its movement pattern. The dataset has an average density of approximately 4.7 landslides per square kilometer, with a peak density of 120 landslides per square kilometer, and the total affected area totals roughly 19.3 km².
