Supporting data for [Separating Dynamic and Thermodynamic Controls on Atmospheric River Variability]

This dataset contains diagnostic data in the article "Separating Dynamic and Thermodynamic Controls on Atmospheric River Variability". In this study, we propose a diagnostic framework, consisting of two methods, to separate the contributions of dynamic and thermodynamic processes to changes in AR activity between two atmospheric states. JRA_PJ.nc and JRA_trend.nc are the results calculated by the rigorous quantitative method for the Pacific-Japan (PJ) pattern and global trend, respectively.
