Oxyresveratrol as a novel ferroptosis inducer exhibits anticancer activity against breast cancer via the EGFR/PI3K/AKT/GPX4 signalling axis

To generate the gene expression profile induced by ORes（oxyresveratrol） in MDA-MB-231 cells, we conducted the HTS² assay. Approximately 3,500 cells were plated into each well of a 384-well plate and cultured for 24 h. The cells were then treated with three concentrations of ORes for an additional 24 h. Following treatment, the culture medium was discarded, and lysis buffer was added. An HTS² assay was subsequently performed to evaluate the mRNA levels of 3,407 target genes.
