Sport-relevant WBGT exceedance and country-level exposure burden under CMIP6 SSP1-2.6 and SSP2-4.5

This archive contains the gridded reconstructed afternoon WBGT exceedance climatologiesand country-level exposure tables used in the article "Severe heat concentrates theburden on the vulnerable: a country-level hazard--exposure--vulnerability assessmentof outdoor sport under CMIP6 pathways". The archive includes WBGT exceedance counts for thresholds of 28, 30 and 32 °C underSSP1-2.6 and SSP2-4.5, for the 2041--2070 and 2071--2100 climatological windows,reported as five-model ensemble mean, ensemble minimum and ensemble maximum.Country-level files provide population-weighted exposure, exposure burden,concentration indices and unsafe-regime population summaries.
