Storage organ development is a complex process and their genetic mechanism can be revealed by phytohormone related genes expression patterns. In order to reveal the genetic mechanism of stem development of Chinese kale (CC) and its allotetraploid (AACC) hybrid, RNA sequencing was conducted in this study to sequence cDNA libraries of their stems at three key stages including 28 days, 42 days and bolting stage (BS) after sowing. To discover the changes of DEGs and related metabolism in CC and AACC, this study will provide insight into the molecular mechanisms of succulent stem development of Brassica vegetables.
