Maryland Hospital Global Budget Revenue Dataset

A tidy, versioned, machine-readable compilation of Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC) public reports on the state's all-payer hospital global budget system. Fourteen tables, 314,749 rows, covering FY2005 to FY2026. Includes hospital revenue and volume by month, rate center, setting, payer and patient residency for FY2017 to FY2026; statewide and hospital-level financial condition for FY2005 to FY2024, extracted from PDF filings; a hospital identity crosswalk linking HSCRC hospital numbers to CMS Certification Numbers and every observed name variant; and a sourced reference table of Maryland hospital rate center codes. Every column is defined in the data dictionary and every source document is named in the source manifest.
