The tested samples originate from the IMDEA run-off water experiment. The analytical method targeted a spectrum of 16 plastic additives. Sample preparation involved a simple dilution of the aqueous sample with methanol (1:1, v/v), followed by direct injection (50 μL) into an ultra-high performance liquid chromatography system coupled to a tandem mass spectrometer (UHPLC-MS/MS).
