The accelerating digital transformation of banking systems worldwide has created an expanding attack surface for cybercriminals, state-sponsored actors, and insider threats. The findings indicate that while technological solutions such as artificial intelligence-driven threat detection and blockchain-based authentication have demonstrated measurable utility, their effectiveness remains contingent upon robust regulatory frameworks, organizational culture, and cross-border cooperation. The article concludes that cybersecurity in digitalized banking cannot be reduced to a technical problem but must be understood as a systemic governance challenge requiring coordinated policy responses.
