PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stapler which includes a variable booster mechanism and can open a magazine with an operation for rotating a handle. SOLUTION: A stapler includes: a handle unit which is connected to a driver unit by a transmission shaft section provided between a fulcrum shaft section and a driver and moves the driver unit; a cam shaft 23 which is provided in a clincher unit 2; a cam groove section 50d which is provided in the handle unit 5 and in which the cam shaft 23 enters and the cam shaft 23 is inserted and extracted by opening an end on the clincher unit 2 side; a guide projection section 20g which is provided in the clincher unit 2; and a guide recess 51a which is provided in the handle unit 5 and regulates a moving path of the handle unit 5 with respect to the clincher unit 2.
