资源简介:

The database was designed to support analyses comparing the temporal evolution of burned areas with reference or control areas, allowing the assessment of both the magnitude and the speed of vegetation recovery. Comparisons are performed over a series of spatial units called “patches,” obtained using the GEOBIA algorithm described by Tassi and Vizzari (2020) https://doi.org/10.3390/rs12223776. In total, data from 19 patches were extracted, and for each patch there is a corresponding burned area and control area.Within these areas, NDVI samples were extracted, enabling the construction of three different baseline types, which serve as references to evaluate the recovery of the burned area. From these comparisons, relative differences between burned and control areas, as well as relevant statistical parameters, were calculated. The optical images used for NDVI extraction are from Landsat Collection 2, Level 1 (L1), providing Top-of-Atmosphere (TOA) reflectance, and subjected to a correction and harmonization process following the methodology of Alves et al. (2022) https://doi.org/10.1117/1.jrs.16.034507.This structure allows for detailed monitoring of post-fire recovery and provides a robust framework to assess the vegetation resilience of Pinus halepensis in the Aragón region of Spain.
