Bulk RNA-seq analysis of HepG2 exposed to oleic and palmitic acid

We aimed to study the effect of fatty acid supplementation in a metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis-like environment on gene expression of HepG2 cells profiled with bulk mRNA-sequencing. HepG2 cells were exposed for 48 hours to oleic acid (100microM) and palmitic acid (50microM), as well as hyperglycemia (4.5 mg/mL), hyperinsulinemia (100 nM), tumor necrosis factor alpha (50 ng/mL), interleukin 1-beta (25 ng/mL) and transforming growth factor-beta (8ng/mL).
