The recognition of the Food Districts takes place through the Regions and Autonomous Provinces to which they belong, which provide communication to the Ministry, which has established and manages the National Register of Food Districts. The Food Districts, established by Law 205 of 27 December 2017, constitute a new development model for the Italian agri-food sector.
