Thisstudyexaminestheroleoffamilyvaluesinthepersonaldevelopmentofuniversitystudents.Theresearchaimstodeterminetherelationshipbetweenthequalityofthefamilyenvironmentandkeypsychologicalindicatorsofpersonalitydevelopment,includingself-esteem,emotionalstability,andsocialadaptation.Aquantitativeresearchdesignwasemployedinthestudy.Thesampleconsistedof140universitystudentsagedbetween18and22years.Datawerecollectedusingseveralpsychologicalassessmenttools,includingtheFamilyEnvironmentScaledevelopedbyRudolfMoosandtheself-esteemmeasurementmethodproposedbyTamaraDemboandSusannaRubinstein.ThecollecteddatawereanalyzedusingdescriptivestatisticsandPearsoncorrelationanalysis.Theresultsrevealedasignificantpositiverelationshipbetweenfamilyenvironmentqualityandthepsychologicalindicatorsofstudents’personaldevelopment.Inparticular,astrongcorrelationwasfoundbetweenfamilyenvironmentandself-esteem(r=0.62),emotionalstability(r=0.58),andsocialadaptation(r=0.54).Thesefindingssuggestthatasupportiveandpositivefamilyenvironmentplaysanimportantroleinstrengtheningpsychologicalstabilityandsocialcompetenceamongyoungindividuals.Thefindingsofthestudysupportseveralpsychologicaltheoriesregardingtheimportanceoffamilyinfluenceonpersonalitydevelopment,includingthepsychoanalyticperspectiveproposedbySigmundFreudandthesociallearningtheorydevelopedbyAlbertBandura.Overall,thestudyhighlightstheimportanceofstrengtheningfamilyvaluesandsupportiverelationshipswithinthefamilyaskeyfactorscontributingtohealthypersonalitydevelopmentamonguniversitystudents
