Charter of Unified Global South Solidarity Diplomacy (UGSSD): A Foundational Treaty for the Voice of the Global South

This Charter represents the first comprehensive treaty-style framework dedicated to the Voice of the Global South. It seeks to unify nations of the Global South under shared principles of sovereignty, equity, climate justice, technological self-reliance, and ethical diplomacy. For the first time in diplomatic history, the Charter includes a Dedication Clause: “To the Voice of the Global South, defending the rights, dignity, and security of the peoples of the South, and affirming India as the Patron-Integrator in building a just, equitable, and multipolar world order.” The UGSSD establishes innovative institutions such as the South Security Council, South Development Authority, Global South Climate Justice Court, South Space Cooperation Agency, and South Human Rights Council. It also pioneers frameworks for digital sovereignty, climate reparations, cultural-ethical diplomacy, and equitable resource justice. Positioning India as a civilizational Patron-Integrator rather than a hegemon, the Charter aspires to reimagine multipolarity by balancing historical justice with future innovation. This work stands as a first-of-its-kind contribution to Global South solidarity, diplomacy, and world order studies.
