Development of IL-27 recombinant lactic acid bacteria and its therapeutic effect in mouse colitis

Oral recombinant lactic acid bacteria expressing IL-27 can reduce weight loss, disease activity index, colon shortening, and inflammation in a DSS-induced colitis mouse model. We collected fecal samples from mice treated with recombinant lactic acid bacteria and sequenced the gut microbiota to obtain the results.
