资源简介:
[ENG:]The dataset contains voltammograms recorded using square-wave voltammetry technique (SWV) for synthetic double-stranded DNA with sequence 5’GTCAACTTCCGTACCGAGC, subjected to oxidation in the presence of different concentrations of allicin, and then electrostatically deposited on the surface of the working electrode. Detailed information on molecular ratios can be found in the "ReadMe" file. The data were recorded using a three-electrode system consisting of a working electrode – a carbon paste electrode, an AgCl reference electrode and a measuring electrode Pt. DNA was deposited on the outer layer of the working electrode using the +0.5V potential. The files contain recorded signals in the form of current [μA] as a function of the gradually changing potential [V], corrected against the base signal – the background of the phosphate buffer used for research. The study of aliicin protective effect on DNA against oxidative stress was conducted using slightly modified own mthod descrivbed in publication: Szczepaniak, O., Ligaj, M., Stuper-Szablewska, K., Joanna Kobus-Cisowska , J. Genoprotective effect of cornelian cherry (Cornus mas L.) phytochemicals, electrochemical and ab initio interaction study. Biomedicine & Pharmacotherapy.
