This accession contains 2,947 observations of water depth and temperature data. The cruises were conducted using unknown ships. The bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected between November 15 and December 19, 1989. The data were sent from the cruise ships to the Ocean Products Center (OPC), Camp Springs, MD via telecommunication. This data was submitted by Mr. William D. Newell. The data was offline on January 11, 2005 and the data format should be verified before uploading the abstract.
