De novo genome for Infravec. A hematophagous fly Phlebotomus perniciosus, Murcia strain assembly.

Genome assembly for the sand fly Phlebotomus perniciosus (a major old world vector of the protozoan parasite Leishmania infantum). The assembly is based on samples collected in Murcia, Spain, prior to 1994, and maintained at Charles University in Prague. This assembly was generated from Illumina paired-end sequencing of a library prepared from six female flies, in which DNA was randomly fragmented, PCR amplified with P5, purified with AMPure XP system then size selected.This work was carried out on sample tissue obtained from the Infravec product catalog (https://https://infravec2.eu/product/); Product reference: V.6.6.P.CZ.6.
