To decipher the possible mechanism of TaMYB31 in regulating Arabidopsis drought tolerance, comparative gene expression analysis was conducted in transgenic and WT plants using RNA-seq. A total of 359 genes were found to be differentially expressed (fold change >2, false discovery rate <0.01). Of these, 238 genes were up-regulated and 121 were down-regulated in transgenic plants.
