**Overview**
This data package contains the information on the number of beneficiaries of the different types of Medicare Part D Plan with prescription drug coverage, number of prescription drug plans that are eligible for low income subsidy, percent of Medicare Part D Beneficiaries that are eligible, number of prescription drug plans available per region, percent of Medicare population enrolled in the Stand Alone Prescription Drug Plan.

**Description**
This data package contains the number of beneficiaries of the different types of Medicare Part D Plan with prescription drug coverage. The data contains the number of Medicare beneficiaries (patients) with creditable prescription drug coverage by type of Medicare Part D plan. The data is displayed by state. Another dataset displays the number of prescription drug plans available per region and indicates the number of plans per contract for Prescription Drug Plan organizations offered by region. Another dataset contains the number of prescription drug plans that are eligible for low income subsidy. Low income eligible plans or benefit packages do not include premium and are eligible for auto-enrollment, dual eligible or facilitated enrollment. The data package also contains the percentage of Medicare Part D Beneficiaries that are eligible and with known creditable prescription drug coverage and percentage of Medicare population enrolled in the Stand Alone Prescription Drug Plan.
