Mountain radiations are not only rapid and recent: Ancient diversification of South American frog and lizard families related to Paleogene

The zipped folder contains:(1) Diversification: the folder includes the phylogenetic data and R scripts to perform the diversification analyses of six Neotropical frog and lizard families;(2) Environmental data: the text files include the data points of the temperature and Andean elevation through time. The sea-surface temperature goes from 0 to 116 Ma and is a compilation from Westerhold et al. (2020) for the Cenozoic, and of Veizer & Prokoph (2015) for the Cretaceous. The Andean elevation is newly compiled here from data published in Boschman (2021).(3) Results: the figures and tables summarizing all the model fits to each Neotropical family with parameter estimates. The results of the diversification analyses as represented by rates-through-time plot per Neotropical family for the best environment-dependent model and the best non-environment model.
