Melastoma normale haplotype 1 genome sequencing. Melastoma malabathricum subsp. normale

We found Melastoma normale has a higher heterozygosity compared with other Melastoma species. We present de novo assemblies for M. normale by combining applications of HiFi and Hi-C sequencing technologies, and two high-quality haplotype-resolved assemblies, namely Hap1 and Hap2, with 12 pseudochromosomes of each were obtained.The assembly length of Hap1 were about 307 Mb with contig N50 of 23.05 Mb.
