Rediscovering global hotspots of monthly freshwater boundary exceedances by integrating water storage capacity

This dataset includes: (1) basin-level freshwater boundary exceedance results; (2) basin-level exceedance results that account for water storage capacity; and (3) the code used to estimate exceedances and perform uncertainty analysis using Monte Carlo simulations.
