Satellite monitoring of migratory caribou to study space use and habitat selection. The seasonal distribution of migratory caribou has varied greatly over the last 15 years (Couturier 2007). There is little information to explain this variation, notably the importance of the availability of food resources and the potential role of hydroelectric dams and other human activities.
