Chemical concentrations in sediment data before and after oil exposure dates in sandy and muddy regions along the Gulf of Mexico (252 different chemicals)

This is a dataset containing the coast types and oil exposure dates along the Gulf of Mexico from longitude -97 to -83. Based on these information, the chemical concentrations before and after the oil exposure dates in sandy and muddy regions are also included. For each chemical and region, there is a concentration value before the exposure date and a concentration value after the exposure date.

The original chemical concentration data is also included in this dataset. The original data is processed from BP and EPA sampling data. There are 252 separate sheets for 252 different chemicals. The sampling dates were from April 2010 to June 2012.

This dataset is a result of estimating the chemical concentration changes before and after the oil exposure dates and the oil impact for different regions for BEACHES project.
