This FAIRsharing record describes: The Neuroimaging Data Model (NIDM) is a collection of specification documents and examples that outline a domain specific extension to the W3C Provenance Data Model (PROV-DM) for the exchange and sharing of human brain imaging data. The goal of the data model is to capture data, information about the data and processes that generated the data (i.e. provenance). This information can be converted to RDF and therefore queried using SPARQL. This representation allows machine accessible representations of brain imaging data and will provide links to related resources such as publications, virtual machines, people and funding agencies.
