The dataset includes the original teleseismic S waveforms and surface waveforms used in Receiver function and Rayleigh wave H/V ratio calculations, which are presented in the manuscript "Layered evolution of the oceanic lithosphere beneath the Japan Basin, the Sea of Japan" submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research - Solid Earth.
