MERS-CoV Saltation Analysis: Human vs. Non-Human Isolates Relative to Vietnamese Reference (NC_019843.3)

This dataset contains a comparative genomic analysis of human and non-human MERS-CoV isolates aligned to the Vietnamese reference strain (NC_019843.3), quantifying mutation frequency, mutation burden, and saltation (sequence divergence). Using MAFFT, the reference genome was integrated into pre-existing alignments, followed by Python-based computation of per-site and per-sequence metrics, hotspot identification (mutation frequency > 0.1), and statistical comparison of saltation distributions between host groups, with results exported as TSV files.
