NRS-18325 | Admission Registers [Royal Newcastle Hospital]

This series is currently represented by two volumes, which cover the periods from 1 July 1946-30 June 1948 and 1 July 1958-30 June 1959, respectively. These volumes are spring-backed binders, with the information inserted on sheets of typescript. The date-range covered by each volume appears on the spine and front cover.Each volume contains the following information: entry no., name of patient, date of admission, and ward admitted to. Entries are in strict chronological order, and entry numbers begin anew each 1st of July.These two volumes are evidently only the remains of a much more extensive series, which may have commenced as early as 1st Jul 1916 (the preceeding series NRS 17683 having new entries dated until 30 June 1916).
