The following surveys were conducted across all regions of Japan: (1) Agricultural Survey: A comprehensive survey of all farmers. (2) Overview of Agricultural Settlements Survey: Issues concerning organized agricultural machinery, living environment of agricultural settlements, and other matters in all agricultural settlements. (3) Large-scale Farmer Survey: A survey of farmers who reported agricultural product sales of over 1 million yen in the past year. (4) Cooperative Management Body Survey: A survey of all cooperative management bodies in agriculture.
