Data and processing steps are described in the following paper:Foroozan, F., Ianiro, A., Discetti, S., Baars, W.J., Resolving convective velocities of turbulent boundary layer-induced convective heat transfer fluctuations at the wall.<br>Data comprise wall fields (spatiotemporal data) of the wall-temperature and Nusselt number of turbulent boundary layer-induced convective heat transfer at the wall. Processing codes to re-generate figures of the aforementioned paper are also included. Two boundary layer conditions are considered: a relatively low friction Reynolds number (Retau = 990) and a higher friction Reynolds number (Retau = 1800). These data allow for studying the spatiotemporal evolution of convective heat transfer fluctuations, and for inferring the scale-dependent convective velocities of the heat transfer fluctuations.

数据集包含壁面处湍流边界层(turbulent boundary layer)诱导对流换热的壁面温度与努塞尔数(Nusselt number)的壁面时空场(spatiotemporal data)数据。同时附带可复现前述论文配图的处理代码。
本次研究考虑了两种边界层工况:较低摩擦雷诺数(friction Reynolds number,Retau=990)与较高摩擦雷诺数(friction Reynolds number,Retau=1800)。本数据集可用于研究对流换热脉动的时空演化特性,并可推导换热脉动的尺度依赖对流速度。
